I would not suggest buying this. I tried powering from a TV, a Blueray and a VCR and the switch would not power-up in order to use the switch. It will only power from a laptop or dedicated charger plugged to an wall outlet. Nowhere in website listing was this disclosed. Only after opening all the packaging which appeared to be very dirty and previously opened did we find a small paper saying that the device 'may' not power up from some usb ports.
