While this is not officially approved for infants in the USA we did a comparison of nutrients delivered, and it was perfectly fine. He has been growing and putting on weight at an excellent pace. His pediatrician, while skeptical and concerned at first, was very impressed on his two month checkup. Kabrita did not magically solve all of his minor issues. For the cradle cap and baby eczema we used Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil purchased from Costco. This has worked very well and is completely natural/safe unlike many supposedly gentle baby lotion that has parabens, alcohol or other inflammatory substances and petroleum based chemicals in them. He was still spitting up some, was still gassy, irritable and would not sleep more than 2 hrs. I searched for something to help him with this. At first our pediatrician put him on Zantac to control his gas. This was not terribly effective and only treats symptoms anyway. What I wanted was something that would "cure" him of the gas. This is the only readily available goat formula I’ve found that does not contain folic acid. Note- only the newly upgraded version of this formula does not contain folic acid, the old version does/did, so when googling it may say that it does contain folic acid, but that is old information.
