It will lose elasticity over time. *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2018* This hat is very well made and looks exactly as pictured. I bought the large/extra large which fits my 23-inch melon with no problem. The hat will eventually lose some of it's elasticity - this is normal. I wore this hat roughly 2-3 times a week from May 2018 to May 2020 and the hat has stretched out to the point where it basically slides down to my ears now. This is not unique to Koloa. I've owned several Flex-Fit hats from different companies and they all lose their elasticity at some point - obviously, your mileage will vary. For me, it's not a deal-breaker that they last me about 2 years. I just order a new one and pass on the old one to my brother-in-law who has a 25-inch melon and it fits him just fine. The hat on the right side of the pic is after two years of usage without washing. I don’t sweat much from my head so the fading is all from the sun. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Hat, GREAT LOGO!!!!! My family is from Koloa, Kauai and not really familiar with Koloa Surf Company but even still, I like the branding. The fit was Excellent for me. I usually get Medium or Large sized fitted hats. The size actually fits me very well and I would say I have a larger shaped head. I didn't have a problem with it forming to my head well as others stated. The bill was easy for me to form also. The - 2 Stars is for the stichting of the logo. Looks a little sloppy. I'm sure the company can do a better job with the stichting to provide better detail to the logo. If they put more attention to detail on the stichting or even raised the logo a bit more I would give 5x. A little unfourtunate because the logo is great and I really like the design. Even Still I will wear this hat because it is a cool hat. Happy to support any Company in Koloa. Time was taken to detail the logo and i appreciate that and hope to see more products with this logo. So that you can attach a firm lanyard for surfing.Update: Lanyard broke one day and the hat promptly sank to the bottom of the ocean.Watched it sink underwater and gone forever.More trash in the sea.
