I know they don't make things like they used to, but I figured they couldn't possibly mess up something as simple as nail clippers. Wrong! These are made from thinner metal than my old ones. Although they look extremely similar to the naked eye, you can instantly feel the flimsiness. I guess they don't want people to go 20 years between buying, so they've engineered it to where you'll need another one every month. On a positive note, the one I got wasn't dull like some other reviewers got.
