I went online and I looked at other mattresses and saw a review where somebody suggested just putting a topper on the existing mattress for pennies on the dollar compared to buying a new mattress. I went to Amazon and read the reviews (very important) looking for a mattress that does not excrete a noxious odor and that holds up over time. Memory foam will deteriorate and it takes years, meanwhile they can provide a much better sleep if you like a soft mattress. My daughter absolutely loves her mattress now and has thanked me at least three times for buying the topper for her.
