## Description

Low profile, small size and approximately 23-feet of cable allows the antenna to be placed almost anywhere on the vehicle to ensure optimal signal reception. The magnetic base is great and allows for strong grip. This allows you to hide it anywhere in the car. This antenna is compatible with all radios and docks that work on the Sirius and XM networks with push on style, single input antenna connector.

Review: Wonderful and works sitting on my dash. - My XM radio in my Peterbilt 18 Wheeler had a huge antenna that mounted on my mirror bracket. I didn't want to drill holes in my F150 and didn't have brackets. This plugged into the rear of my radio without adapters and while I had the magnetic part on my dash, I got signal. I decided to leave it as was rather than routing wires to the exterior. Extra wire is hidden in the dash and the only part seen is in the middle of my dash up front close to the windshield. It worked fine on a 2 1/2 hour trip 150 miles from my home.
Review: Substitute my Genesis G80 antenna for Sirius - I have a 2018 Genesis G80 and my Sirius xm would just randomly lose signal for long periods of time. I would use the XM reset... Reset the head unit and the XM radio signal would still be lost. Then it would just all the sudden start working. After some research I realized that the XM signal and GPS signal are likely in the same sharkfin or even using the same connections. The GPS signal could be causing interference. Or this just may be a case of an old/defective Sirius antenna being used by Genesis made from back in 2010 when Hyundai was still using soon to be outdated parts, such as 3G sunset telematics in 2020 vehicles which was bananas! I have a panoramic roof and using a hand magnet I also found that the sharkfin is not fully mounted to metal, it's mostly glass and abs plastic. Most Sirius antenna require it to be mounted on something metal for grounding and to increase the signal. I have an old Tahoe with aftermarket Sirius and it's never dropped a signal unless in a Garage Deck the Genesis was losing signal in broad daylight. Bought this new antenna and an adapter to the G80 head unit. I mounted this on the trunk corner of my car which is metal and also was a great spot for me to run the wire down the passenger side of the vehicle. The installation was about an 1hr and that was mostly me just taking my time to ensure it looks right. I also added small layer of 3M 15lb double sided tape to the mount to help it stay on. I don't go through car washes but this will take will be useful to avoid even knocking it off the magnet for durability. Currently no issues with this antenna and would recommend it. This is also a genuine Sirius antenna and not an aftermarket version.
