If it's too watery, just let it cool down till its creamy and it doesn't burn your skin. It did hurt a little, it is suppose to hurt so don't let those negative reviewers turn you off from buying, because it hurt them.... Follow the instructions and the pain goes away fast. I recommend this product.

OK, this was a difficult one to rate. This was my first experience with waxing and I expected that there might be some discomfort and/or pain. I also noted other users saying how messy it was to use, yep that it was however, it did indeed remove the unwanted hairs (above lip). On the other hand the pain was excruciating! I am hardly a wimp but this was so painful when removing it that my eye's watered something fierce from the pain. It looked like I was crying. It didn't leave any red marks and it removed 99% of all unwanted hairs. Only a few remained to be plucked. I would use this again if it wasn't for the pain. It does say to press on the skin afterwards to lessen the pain but that is only temporary relief. Four hours later, it was still painful but to the point I could ignore it easily. Too bad, I really like how well it works but don't know if I'll use it again due to the pain. Plucking is far less painful for me.
