If not dose anyone know of a device that will hold the window open? Thanks.** A: It probably will when new, but remember these hold up an all glass window. While they are holding it up, under stress, a tiny pebble bouncing off the glass will likely shatter it. **Q: Strut will not move, stays in open position. Am I missing something?** A: They are fully open when you take them out of the box and nearly impossible to close them in your hand. You will want them open when installing them. After they are installed they should close normally when you push down on the window. If they are replacement struts then you may need to push a little harder to close window. **Q: What is the length of the supports?** A: Extended Length: 25.39" Compressed Length: 14.57" **Q: The top of both struts will not stay in my wrangler. Any suggestions?** A: Make sure the clip is on all the way. Start by pulling the clip off with a flat head screw driver then push the strut over the ball all the way and push the clip back on.
