Review: Handy adhesive for small shop fixes - I bought this 3M weatherstrip adhesive for the shop door on my small business. The rubber seal kept drooping and customers were asking if we were “remodeling” because it looked so rough. I squeezed a thin bead along the frame, pressed the strip in, and it grabbed fast enough that i didn’t have to stand there holding it forever. I liked that it stayed in place even when we were slamming the door during a rush. Also used a bit to reattach a loose gasket on our mini fridge behind the counter. That alone made me glad i had this tube in the drawer.

**Q: Directions say, "do not close bond?"  What does that mean?**
A: It means that you don't apply the adhesive and then immediately push the two items to be bonded together. You need to allow the adhesive to become tacky before pushing the two items together, otherwise the final bond won't be strong.

**Q: what is cure time for 03602**
A: Yes full cure 24hrs. However, after a minute or two you might as well start over because it skins over so fast. IMO it comes out tacky/ready to use, but maybe I got a tube that had been sitting awhile. I think it comes out liquid-ee, runny and shiny and within a minute it's turning dull as it skins over. I'd say from tube squeeze to press to adhere and clamp is 30 secs 'working time'.

I resealed and waterproofed some construction shoes that got some holes in them and the soles were coming loose by just going free-form and abstract with this stuff.  It's awesome !

**Q: I  need to glue down some rubber treads on my deck stairs to prevent slipping on them.  Does anyone feel this glue would do it - We have hot weather.**
A: I would just buy some construction adhesive at your local hardware store and use that it will be much cheaper and is made to work with wood, rubber, tile, concrete, etc. With this stuff you will need a bunch of tubes to do what your doing if it even works.Hope this helps.RagenRat / aka Mark

**Q: what is set time**
A: We glued Velcro to fabric and let it set up for 4 hours before testing it.  It didn't fail but can't tell you if we needed to let it sit that long.

Amber tube showed up in my stack of office fixes because my little backyard office shed was leaking around the window frame. I needed something stronger than random tape. This stuff is thick but spreads fine with a scrap gift card. I ran a bead around the gasket, pressed it in, and it grabbed fast so I didn’t have to stand there forever holding it. Smell is strong so i opened both windows, then it was fine. Next morning after a heavy rain, the carpet by my desk stayed dry for once. Reallly glad I don’t have to drag my laptop back to the dining table every storm now.
