Review: Be very careful getting the backing off - I think they are fantastic. I had a melanoma removed from my cheek. I had to wait a few weeks and have now started using the silicone bandages. Read the instructions. Cut them to size, much more economical and less obvious. Be very careful to handle, the bandages are very thin. It works so well. Since it is right in the middle of my face I thought it would look awful but they are barely visible and almost looks better. I am on my 5th day and have had a shower every morning and a face wash every night. The bandages stay put. Do not rub the area, just blot dry. It works better than the cream for me. I plan to do this for quite awhile, so that the end result will be a minimal scar

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How well will this work on a bumpy, knotted scar? There's nothing smooth about it?**
A: Of course I don’t know how this product will help you.  I suggest you use it at least every night or 24 hrs for 2-3 wks and then assess the results.  I have used it twice in different parts of my body and have been satisfied with the results.  One of my scars required longer-a couple of months.  Don’t give up.  Also it helps to apply pressure over the scar away product multiple times when using it, and use it regularly.

**Q: I did not receive anything to store them on after washing them? What do you store them on to dry in-between uses?**
A: I never washed the strips by themselves.  I showered with them on but they usually fell off when they got wet, so I threw them away and started with a new one.

**Q: how is it a 3 month supply if it only has 10?**
A: The sheets are washable and reusable, the box states one sheet lasts up to 10 days. The time frame is given based on ideal conditions, IMO based on the user. One who doesn’t take time to properly apply, carefully remove and wash the sheet after wear will not be as likely to get 10 days of usage per sheet. It’s an amazing product but does require reading the instructions and treating the item with care. Hope this helps!

**Q: Do the clear scaraway sheets protect scars from uv sun exposure?**
A: Hi, thank you for your question about ScarAway Clear Silicone Scar Sheets, White, 10 Count. The product does not contain any SPF or any UV blocking properties. SPF can be worn over the patch.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent scar patch sheets and gentle on skin.

Come clear, mostly easy to put on and work for up to 10 days. They are also water resistant, meaning you can potentially wear them in the shower but it may alter the effectiveness, and have gentle adhesive that sticks firmly to the skin without damaging the skin. You can cut the scar sheets too. Cutting to fit properly on the scar is helpful. It comes like a nose patch for pores, with two white plastic pieces on top that you pull off to use the sheets. I’d suggest taking the top plastic pieces off slowly and gently so you can avoid wrinkling. My first attempt i wrinkled the sheets and had to throw it away. I was worried it would irritate my scars and very sensitive skin. I’m happily surprised it hasn’t irritated my skin. Normally products will make my skin red, puffy, acne prone and itchy. This did not do any of that. Taking it off was painless too. I am not sure if it truly last 10 days. According to some reviews, water makes the adhesive less sticky. I haven’t tried it in the shower yet. I’ll have to let you know how my experience is. I also haven’t seen results yet but I’ll keep you updated on that too. Definitely not as bad as some of the reviews I saw. It’s worth at least trying and I’d recommend.
