It's really easy to set up and pack up and is nice and light so it's easy to carry. The biggest drawback for this is the mattress. It's definitely just a firm pad more suitable for playing. When we tried to use it as a crib my 6 month old woke up several times a night. The other problem is trying to put a sleeping baby down all the way down to the floor over those rails. So for that trip it wasn't great, however we just got the Hiccapop tri-fold travel mattress for playyard and it fits perfectly, so we'll try again for the next trip. I will say it was a really nice little play pen when we needed a place to put her down, especially when there are animals around.
