## Description

The history of the company VOSTOK began in 1942, when one of the Moscow watchmaking facilities was evacuated from Moscow to a small town Chistopol located on the Kama River. Defense equipment was the only company production during the war years, but as soon as the war ended VOSTOK began producing mechanical wrist watches, the main manufacturing element since. In 1965, Vostok was appointed official watch supplier to the Defense Department of the Soviet Union. This year marks the creation of the famous watch "Komandirskie" ("Commander"). The military watch has become very popular even with people who were not aware of which end of the gun bullet comes off, mainly due to high accuracy, excessive reliability and durability. The appearance of the watch also contributes to its appeal - functional and clear design invoked the feeling of belonging to the harsh world of professional combat. The experience that VOSTOK gained through the development of the army watch was the basis of our next special watch - "Amphibious". This impressive timepiece in stainless steel case has endured the depth of 200 m, a kind of wrist submarine. The success of professional watches has determined the company's current philosophy - to create mechanical watches while maintaining precise timing at any temperature, in any environment, survived the strong pressure and blows. The profitability of the chosen strategy is now time-tested. A vast multitude of people both in Russia and abroad who boast "VOSTOK" watches and various international awards awarded for high quality and commercial success testify to this. Vostok Trading is a long-term partner of VOSTOK Watch Factory in the USA.
