Having a second one included was a big plus to give to my neighbors other 8 year old daughter. Before giving the gift i made sure i charged the battery on both microphones until the red charging light went out ( full charge ). Tested both mics. and both were outstanding sound and quality. Wanted to make sure they were working before gifting. The 6 and 8 year olds were able to use immediately with very little instruction. It was their most played with and enjoyed gift all day.
