You have to see what works for your skin and use the products consistently throughout the day. On old scars this repair solution doesn't work as well for me as a stand along, but after a few weeks of testing it helps to speed up the process. It's not very messy and dries quickly. I've monitored and haven't had any breakouts or allergic reactions and there's no weird or strong scents. It's recommended to use the two in separate times morning/night and keep rotating.
