This is what I've been looking for. Because I'm buying this for my mom's health, I've spent days researching ceylon cinnamon reviews everywhere and so far this is the one I'm most happy with. Though not a lot of reviews for this one but I trust my instincts after reading every brand of ceylon cinnamon product details and reviews out there. Not that some other brands are not true ceylon but I read their complaints too. I took a chance and bought it. Soooo happy I did. I know what ceylon cinnamon is. The previous product I bought was terrible. Taste like saw dust plus a little cinnamon. I then bought a small bottle from Wholefoods and it was great but expensive. So I now have 4 types of cinnamon to compare with. The old brand which I will toss out soon, I have the small bottle of ceylon, this Laksoil Cinnamon and the typical Vietnamese cinnamon (stronger and harsh aroma with a reddish hue) from a big brand. This Laksoil ceylon and the one I bought from Wholefoods was the same, light in color and fresh cinnamon aroma. My mom gave it a thumbs up. I really hope this company will continue to sell this brand as is and not change or add any other fillers to make more money. I'm sure many of us had experienced "It used to be very good and now it's Meh". I have no complaints on this brand. I have thought these people were consuming cinnamon cassia before which tastes much stronger. But I am used to the real Cinnamon Ceylon I still have some leftovers in powder and sticks form and this Laksoil cinnamon is nothing like it! Nor taste - there is almost no taste! I put a whole table spoon of it in a cooky dough and I could not taste the cinnamon at all!Nor the color - it looks like if someone blended cinnamon powder with something else.I made a photo with the Ceylon cinnamon powder that I had before on the right down, the Laksoil on the left down and the Ceylon cinnamon powder I grinded myself from sticks - it’s up on the plate.
