This paper actually cuts longer/more strokes on hardened steel than the silicon carbide. It's not without warts, but they do not affect my process. The sheets are more brittle, and will break easier when folded (or at folds) on a sanding block. The scratch pattern left behind is more evident than what the silicon carbide paper leaves--Rhynowet looks "scratchier." Since I am moving through the grits up to/past #2000, it will come out in the wash. All this time I have been using wet or dry silicone carbide sandpaper on my disk grinders and using it for hand sanding too. I have been using the Rino wet for only a few months and it will out last the silicone carbide at least 3 to 1. I am having a hard time using the remaining silicone carbide because I know I will have to use another sheet.
