**Q: Are the holes small enough to mash beans well?**
A: I would say this would be great for mashing beans.

**Q: How do you think this would work mashing tuna fish?**
A: I don't think this would be a good tuna masher.  My daughter loves tuna sandwiches and the best way to break up the tuna is with your hands.  It tastes much better that way.  I'm not an expert and it may work, so you could try it.

**Q: Does this work well for mashing cauliflower?**
A: If you want to mash up cauliflower this would work excellent in my opinion. It does a great job on potatoes and cauliflower that has been cooked is softer than cooked potatoes.

**Q: How tall is it?  I do 10 lbs of potatoes at Thanksgiving and use a large stock pot.  Need it tall enough to not have my hand in the hot potatoes.**
A: It isn't tall enough for that.  Mine will allow me to mash potatoes in a 2 quart sauce pan with ease.  I would suggest the longer handled masher for the amount you are talking about.

This isn't just a potato masher—it's a game changer for getting that creamy, smooth texture you usually only get from a potato ricer, but with far less hassle. ​What I Love: ​Ergonomics are King: The horizontal, cushioned handle is the real star here. Instead of forcing my wrist to twist and press down, the broad, non-slip handle lets me use the weight of my body to press straight down efficiently. This makes mashing large batches of potatoes, or even tougher things like firm beans or yams, genuinely effortless and completely pain-free on my hands. ​Ricer-Level Smoothness: The flat, fine-grid stainless steel head is what sets this apart from traditional wire mashers. It pushes the cooked vegetable through tiny holes, eliminating lumps and giving you a consistently silky-smooth result every single time.
