I didn't open it up. I guess my answer to your question is "I don't know". Sorry **Q: Does this item replace part numbe 495756?** A: Hey Jeffery,Briggs is saying no and looks like your part number 495756 has been discontinued for some time now which I assume you already know that. I checked eBay and Amazon with no results,Thanks,Eric **Q: Will this fit a 14.5hp briggs and stratton motor** A: You need to find the engine number to verify this. Mine is on the metal shroud that covers the fins on the head. it is stamped into the sheet metal, so is not so easy to see. You may not have a motor that is going on 30 years old, so your engine number may be somewhere else. A company like jacks small engines can help you once you have the engine number. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/31251474-briggs-and-stratton-495735-breather-assembly-replaces-391406](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/31251474-briggs-and-stratton-495735-breather-assembly-replaces-391406) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
