There are a number of sizes to choose from which was a bonus. Material is like a soft rubber but seems strong. As I’ve only had it a short time it’s hard to tell how durable it will be but so far I haven’t seen any issues. Due to the style of mat it catches the dirt well and it can be easily cleaned. There are other designs to choose from but being a crazy cat person this was ideal for me.
