The "Naked" Armadillo water hose is designed for the RV and Marine industry with a "Non-Scuff" surface to minimize abrasions and marks left by lesser quality hose. Nickel-plated, crush-resistant couplings and reinforced nylon-grade NSF-61 Certified tubing provides odorless, clean, fresh tasting water. This hose also California Proposition 65 compliant. It has a 300 PSI maximum working pressure and is compatible with all 3/4-inch water fixtures. The temperatures can range from 14 F / (4 C) - 140 F (65 C.) The development of The "Armadillo Water Hose" began in January 2004. TheiInventor, a pet lover and owner of a friendly Yellow Labrador Retriever named "Bentley" encountered a problem as do many pet owners today. Bentley was "teething" and enjoyed the soft exterior of the backyard water hose. In an effort to protect Bentley and keep from replacing the water hose on a regular basis, the search was on for a for a water hose that was impervious to a dog’s bite or "chewing". No such hose could be found at the time. This initiated development of a solution to this common problem among pet owners. 10-foot length.
