Sound quality is OK, but not ideal for pumping bassy music, as they can 'buzz' at high volume levels, which is why a noisy car is not ideal. I also use mine connected to a PC (need a Bluetooth dongle) for speech recognition using Dragon, they work fine, and you can still hear what's going on around you. With a mobile, callers report the voice quality is always excellent, so the noise cancelling must work well!
