They are indeed VERY long, thick but not obnoxiously so, and stay in place. The only problem I’ve had is when using with underwear that are less than 100% cotton they sometimes stick- the pad rips and pieces of it stay stuck to the underwear when removing, but they work well enough that I happily deal with that.
