Having been a competitive swimmer for the last 18 years and also a coach, I appreciate the pullkick board as something that saves me having to carry the huge net bags that young swimmers carry today. In being 2 in 1 it saves a lot of space.As a kick board it does admittedly make kick sets more difficult, but this is an added bonus in a sport where every advantage counts. In being slightly less buoyant than more traditional boards it prevents shoulder injuries that are so common. It also ensures a more natural and streamlined position in the water is maintained.As a pullbuoy I can have no complaints. The buoyancy is great and the shape of the board means it rarely 'falls out' when turning or streamlining from the wall.The material is also highly durable. Having owned this board for at least a year now there are no nicks or dents in the board, and there's no chance of it snapping due to its strength.I can't imagine I will ever require a new board for the rest of my swimming career. In that respect this is money well spent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good all-rounder *by S***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on May 30, 2014* Was a bit worried by the negative review but am glad I chose this board - it's as good as any kickboards/pull buoys that I've used (am a long-term endurance-distance swimmer) but saves on having to cart 2 items around (and generally losing 'em) and obviously saves on space. It's sturdy and stands up to long periods of use. Have had no problem with its size negatively affecting bouyancy: as I said, its performance matches that of other boards that I've used. I do need to change its position now & then when using it as a pullbuoy - but I have this issue with other pullbuoys anyway, so I'm not too fussed! Had been torn between this one and the Zogg's one, but went for this because it looked a little smaller and would be easier to carry around. Was worried that it would be so small it would be ineffective (that negative review on here had me concerned!) but don't be put off by that review, I don't know what they are talking about. This float is fully functional as both a kickboard and a pull buoy. It's small enough to fit in my usual kit bag along with my gym stuff. I can't imagine how it could be any better designed, get one!
