This fixes that. Don't expect it to make your truck theft-proof but this is the easiest fix that will dissuade a lot of opportunistic thefts. Seen plenty of images on the forums of people trying to pop the door and failing because of the Jimmy Jammer as the thief quickly moves on for easier pickings.Reasonably easy install on the fronts. Be sure to get both of the 2 bolts holding the door panel (beneath the reflector on the bottom and beneath the window/door lock controls) and the trim pieces (window/door lock and a pillar in the front corner) before pulling it up. You don't need to bother trying to take off the top nut on the door handle. For the bottom one a ratcheting 7/16 wrench makes easy work. Use a flat head screw driver to help pull out the rod with your other hand. You can come with the screwdriver from the outside by pulling the bottom side of the handle out if your hands are big. Get the panel in place and hand tighten the door handle nut. Make sure the rod is clear and not behind the Jimmy Jammer. Be sure to get the hose clamp started before you try to put it on. It's got a ways to tighten down and loosens up when you get it going. Get the clamp in place and fit a flathead screwdriver into the clamp when you can see it and then take your other hand and push the clamp down as you tighten the driver. Don't forget to pop the rod back on.These rears are a really quick install. Get the door panel off as above and then remove the lower 7/16 nut on the handle, put the Jimmy Jammer in place, hand tighten the nut and then hold the Jimmy Jammer up with one hand while you tighten the nut with the wrench. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Jimmi jammer saves wife and newborn *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 18, 2016* I bought this for my excuraion after someone had jimmied my original door handle lock and got into my vehicle. Feeling completely violated I decided to take a proactive approach to the repair and got a new handle and the jimmi jammer. Two weeks later my family went to the local hardware store and I parked in the contractor parking area just outside the main exit. My wife and newborn left the store so she could breastfeed in the back seat with tinted windows. A car drives up quickly and starts banging on the door lock with a screwdriver with my wife in the car yelling at them but had it not been for the jimmi jammer they would have gotten in. Thanks jimmi jammer for saving my wife and child! Now only if there was a sticker that I could put on the outside of the handle telling potential thieves that my truck is protected by jimmi jammer.
