There is no padding what-so-ever with a felt like lining. Totally reliant on the tough hard shell. Honestly because of the weight of this little guy, I think if it were dropped in the case one or both of the magnets is more likely to dislodge than the exterior is likely to dent. Still, I’m a “if it’s got a case I’m buying one’ kind of person.
