He was able to eat by himself with it in school. Those are durable plate. I bought a second one after 3 years because the cover missing edge. Even though was using it through the end of the school year. Good product!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dish Works Well for My Mother’s Meals *by B***E on March 2, 2021* This was my second order of this style dish. I have the sandstone set, and I wanted the red one for foods with tomato sauce or cheese so staining would not be an issue. I use the dishes to take meals to my elderly mother. I like the deep sides because they keep food from sloshing out. The lids work well for storage in the refrigerator but will come off easily during transport. I just use care when transporting to prevent spills or wrap the dish with plastic wrap instead of using the lids when spills might be an issue.
