**Q: Is this box airtight as claimed? I have purchased the item and it's absolutely not airtight which caused my dough to go bad while fermenting.Need help**
A: Mine is airtight. I use this for pizza dough. I do the first prove in a large bowl, and then separate into individual basis and reprove in this. I do sometimes do that in the fridge depending how far in advance I am making the dough?

Fits well in fridge. Lid recess for handle is handy so it lays flat. Just small enough to fit in the fridge. Only criticism is that it’s over priced for what is essentially a plastic storage box.
