Can they be left on the dashboard on a hot day?** A: They can definitely be charged on the dashboard but they might would be ok in the heat but I wouldn’t personally recommend leaving anything on the dash if it is warm outside with the car parked. It isn’t good for batteries of any sort but if you were driving with the a/c on or had air flowing it would be ok for sure. **Q: How man lumens do these lights put out? I see the non color options is 100 lumens wanted to compare the two.** A: It doesn’t produced sufficient light jut night mode color I recommend the black one it’s really good and it light up the place **Q: Do the color changing lights also dim?** A: No,they do not. Wit those one has the option of cycling through 6 different colors or put in in a constant change mode or white but no low,med,high as found on the white Luci string lights. **Q: Are the color changing ones 100 lumens per as well?** A: I just reviewed all the materials and don't see any marking talking the lumens.
