Review: Working great. I bought hunter fans with remote controls. The remotes died every 6 months and ate expensive batteries. These seem to be doing great. After a year still on first batteries and still working on all functions. Just as a note, you do have to take the fan down to install the unit.

**Q: Can this be used to convert a ceiling fan that has pull chains into a fan that can just be controlled by the remote?**
A: Of course it can. If your fan have pull chain switch, before using the wireless remote control, use the switch to turn the fan speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. In this way the switch and the wireless remote control can be used together.

**Q: Compatible with flush mount ceiling fan??**
A: Controller must be able to fit inside shroud that covers ceiling mount. Where wire connections are located. May fit some and not others

**Q: can you program 4 receivers with the same code as the remote and work 4 fans from 1 remote. Each fan would have it's own receiver. but 1 remote?**
A: Remote and receiver communicate with each other via radio signals.
It is possible to control multiple receivers/ceiling fans with one remote, or multiple remotes to control one ceiling fan light.
Note that if the four ceiling fans are distributed in different rooms, you need to consider the factor of signal blocking by obstacles such as walls.

**Q: Does it work on a Hunter Model 23487 - 300 Fan?**
A: I didn't find a specification for this Hunter fan, so I'm not sure. But if your ceiling fan is a 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fan, I think it is compatible with this remote control kit.

This FAN28R FAN-53T universal ceiling fan remote control kit works almost all 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans, including Harbor Breeze, Hunter, Hampton Bay, Westinghouse, Honeywell and other brands.
But you need to know this before buying, the remote's Light Dimmer compatible with incandescent light bulbs and dimmable LED/CFL lamps. Some LED lights are non-dimmable, light dimmer only supports the ON/OFF function in that case, and it may cause to flicker when using the dimming function.

Working great. I bought hunter fans with remote controls. The remotes died every 6 months and ate expensive batteries. These seem to be doing great. After a year still on first batteries and still working on all functions. Just as a note, you do have to take the fan down to install the unit.
