Review: Glad I finally listened to my local fish store! - I have been using tap water for years with all my tanks and always used prime. My tap water in my town is cleaned with ammonia which is deadly to fish. After using prime for years, my water was so acidic that it barely showed up on the api master test kit at less than 6.0ph. I had to buffer the water with crushed coral for years and couldn't figure it out. I was recommended by a fish store to try ultamate and I finally did. All problems that lasted for years are gone. I prepare the water in buckets atleat 2 days before I use it as a precaution. For a 5 gallon bucket I use about 3ml to treat the water and it even keeps the ph up to 7.0 now. No need for crushed coral. Just to know with this product it will give you a false POSITIVE for AMMONIA for a few days so don't worry. I am very happy I found this product and I will never use anything else again. I have had this bottle for a year now treating atleat 50 gallons a month and I still have more than 3/4 of a bottle. So this bottle will last a long time! Review: Great money saving product for my fish keeping. - Seems to work good. Was a no brainer as the price of Prime went through the roof this is basically the same thing half price. ## Features - Item Category: Aquarium Pond Water Treatment - Item Trademark: Hikari Usa Inc. - manufacturer: Generic ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0054RV30K | | Allergen Information | Almonds Free | | Brand | Hikari | | Brand Name | Hikari | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 293 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00042055722360 | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Weight | 9 g | | Item form | Liquid | | Item weight | 9 g | | Liquid Volume | 16 Fluid Ounces | | Liquid volume | 16 Fluid Ounces | | Manufacturer | Hikari | | Manufacturer Part Number | 42169 | | Model Number | 42169 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Pet Type | Fish | | Target Species | Fish | | UPC | 042055722360 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Unit count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hikari - **Liquid volume:** 16 Fluid Ounces - **Item weight:** 0.02 Pounds - **Item form:** Liquid - **Manufacturer:** Hikari ## Images ![Usa AHK72236 Ultimate Cloram-X Water Conditioner for Aquarium, 16-Ounce - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vENJ3ar5L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glad I finally listened to my local fish store! *by H***0 on 23 September 2020* I have been using tap water for years with all my tanks and always used prime.
