It comes folded, and it looks like most of the folds are on seams. It's super windy up here in the mountains, and I don't want to risk it blowing away overnight. Once it starts to lay a little flatter, I will put it outside. It's gorgeous. It's made well. It matches my patio decor perfectly. This will last a long time, I think. I'm very pleased with this purchase and may end up getting another one for the other side of my steps. I highly recommend this for a deck or patio.
