All three bags shredded at the first washing even though they were advertised as being washable. Very disappointing. I buy bottled water individually and several of them are far too much for even a double bag plastic carrier to handle without the handles breaking .... Very disappointing. Not nearly as durable if you cannot get them wet whatsoever. Won't purchase this brand again. One of my primary concerns was the the straps wouldn't be well made or that the bag itself would end up smaller than anticipated– neither was the case.One thing to mentions that canvas should never, ever, ever, ever, EVER be washed in warm or hot water and should NEVER EVER EVER EVER be dried in the dryer.Wash instructions should be very clear: Wash in cold water– gentle cycle or hand wash. Flat or line dry. Warm iron if needed. Heat will make the bag shrink. I see a lot of complaints regarding canvas-made products, but it's a heavy fabric and 100% cotton: common sense says that it will shrink, naturally, as the fibers/threads absorb the water and then dry.I used these for a test project for dyeing. I'll attach photos of the before/after.
