If you mean "watercolor" techniques using a photo editing program like Elements, it works very well. **Q: I am looking for an inkjet cold press watercolor paper. Does this product have a visable texture? front & back?** A: Yes, this paper has texture on front and back. I even use it to do my own watercolor on as well as printing on it! I really like this product and have purchased it several times. **Q: Has anyone used this to print line art for coloring with colored pencils?** A: I haven't used it for that, however I don't think it would work really well. It's got more of a texture like super coarse watercolor paper. It'd probably eat up your pencils or not color evenly. **Q: is this paper good for photo prints?** A: I've never printed out a photograph, but if you are looking for a non-glossy, textured-matte look I think it would kind of neat. I love the texture and feel. I just have one Complain to make. Whoever is shipping this please sandwich it between cardboard or some thing. Most of my paper I’ll head dog ears on one corner. I was able to fix it by slightly dampening and ironing it. Not perfect but it did the job. I probably will buy more because the quality is outstanding but I feel very nervous doing so because of shipping practices. UPDATE ordered again and the paper was not damaged. Great paper will buy again.UPDATED 3rd time buying this paper. Paper did not come damaged. I was nervous when it arrived in a bubble wrap envelope. Box that holds the paper was crushed but the paper was good. This paper is outstanding.
