## Overview

The SAFAVIEH Natura Collection 8x10 area rug is a hand-loomed, 100% natural wool masterpiece featuring a plush 0.5-inch pile and intricate Moroccan-inspired braided and boucle patterns. Designed to blend effortlessly with diverse décor styles, this durable, artisan-crafted rug brings sophisticated texture and comfort to living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas. Backed by Safavieh’s 100+ years of craftsmanship, it’s a stylish investment in lasting quality and modern bohemian flair.

## Description

The SAFAVIEH Natura 852 collection works a tribal motif into undyed wool in ivory, a coastal, bohemian texture that gets its color from the fleece rather than a dye bath. Each rug is hand-loomed at a 3/8" pile, firm and textural underfoot in a way no synthetic reproduces. Wool resists crushing and everyday soiling, though undyed yarn means tone moves from batch to batch. Natura 852 suits a living room, bedroom or dining room layered over wood or tile.

## Features

- [COLOR & DESIGN]: SAFAVIEH's Natura rug works a tribal motif through undyed ivory wool; its 3/8" pile is firm and textural; color and pattern contrast may look different in person, and shade can vary depending on lighting and screen settings.
- [ARTISANALLY HANDCRAFTED]: Hand-loomed from wool at a 3/8" pile, a fiber that springs back after furniture and holds up through high-traffic areas, wearing well in an entryway, hallway, home office or foyer.
- [EASY CARE]: Vacuum regularly without a beater bar and blot spills immediately, pressing rather than rubbing so the weave is not disturbed.
- [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Some shedding is normal in a new wool rug and reduces with vacuuming. Creases relax within a few days laid flat. Because the yarn is undyed, tone shifts between batches rather than matching exactly. A SAFAVIEH rug pad adds cushioning.
- [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I get my rug edges to lie flat?**
A: Rugs are rolled or folded for safe transit, so creases and curled edges are to be expected. Lay the rug flat, or reverse-roll and the marks will release within a few days.

**Q: Why does my rug look different than the photo?**
A: Because the fibers lie in one direction, the rug appears lighter from one end and darker from the other, with the tone shifting as you move around it. Room lighting and screen settings can also affect how the color reads.

**Q: Why does my rug shed?**
A: A little shedding is normal on a new rug, and it subsides within a few days as the loose fibers work their way out.We suggest vacuuming regularly without a beater bar to help it along.

**Q: Why does my rug smell?**
A: A light scent is normal after a rug has been rolled and wrapped for shipping. Let air circulate through the room and it will fade within a few days.

**Q: How do I clean my rug?**
A: Vacuum regularly in the direction of the pile, not against it, and skip the beater bar. Blot spills rather than rubbing them. Natural fiber rugs should be shaken out to release dirt and debris, avoid wet cleaning.
