This knife is intended for display purposes only as stage prop, LARP item, or to display within a collection. The durability of the plastic is unexpectedly extremely sturdy considering the only part made of steel is the blade itself. The handle is not meant to be held by human hands; extremely small and the handle is ridiculously skinny and has a significantly negative amount of material to grip on. The cross guard is incredibly intrusive for handling and pokes out of pockets. After a frustrating disassembly of the knife handle, the knife's tang is almost non-existent with a 1 cm hole at the base of the 5 cm tang (measured from the start of the sharpening choil). The knife's 440 steel blade is certainly a viable project piece for any custom knife builds. Depending on the preference of blade shape, this knife's blade shape may disappoint you if an 20 cm skinny thin dagger is not useful. The 2 cm by 1 mm thickness of the knife is a perfect balance for durability and flexibility while maintaining a low profile for the uses of this blade shape. Considering this is the cheapest price on amazon for this blade-shape, there are few complaints. A $13 knife blank is certainly worth the money if you do not own the tools or materials to create your own.
