I wanted it to protect my item from accidental damage on the move. It’s padded and feels like it’ll be protected from knocks whilst in my bag. If I’m being picky, I’ve docked a star because it is quite snug, so there isn’t room for much else and there are no pockets for pens/notes etc. It’s also open at one end, so you need to ensure it’s the right size otherwise the laptop might fall out.
