After opening the pack I understood why- but its a problem easily solved. The red one wasn't dried out thoroughly nor did it have anything in it to draw away moisture/ keep it air tight so on opening the pack it had began to dry out and had salt/ what looked like mould on it. I washed it them soaked it in plain water for 15 minutes before then soaking it in spring water and lemon overnight, rinsed again in spring water and its fine. To be expected with marine /water based moss and products but the seller could fix this too! Hence it got 4 and not 5 stars.
