Brody and Cam grew up together and he is her brother's best friend. Growing up he always riled her up and made-up names that she detested and held a grudge against him for. When he moved back to town after a failed marriage with his daughter, they connected and found themselves gravitating towards the other. As their relationship bonded them together, his ex started making waves. Will her interferences threaten their relationship? I lved this story and found myself in Brody and Cam's corner cheering for them to get their chance for a happily ever after?

This author is a new-to-me author, but I loved this bookBrody is a man who has gone through a rough marriage and an even rougher divorce. He has custody of his little girl, and is dedicated to make her is priority.Cam is owner of an ice cream parlor, with her best friend. Cam is independent, but lonely. Brody and Cam have known each other for years, but they never showed each other their attraction. Now that Brody is single, he shows his attraction to Cam. The feelings are mutual, and they begin a relationship. Problems occur when Brody’s ex is determined to split them up.Brody and Cam split up for a short while, but their love is too strong to resist, and they finally reach their HEA.I love the characters, the story about the couple, and the romance, I plan to read more books by C.C. Wood.

- brothers best friend- small town- single father 🥰Everything about this book was perfect, the characters, the story, the dialogue. I really enjoyed reading this book especially how he was with his daughter. There's nothing more attractive than a good father. I would love to keep reading their story and seeing them with more kids!.  The little bit that we got from the background characters makes me want to pick up the 2nd book asap because I need to read their story
