The rack pin is a little smaller than 1/2" because they also fit perfectly on my jammer arms which have 3/8" holes. Which is a bonus for me but worth noting for others. I still find them very solid on my 5/8" holes on the rack. Initially there seemed to be some wobble but once a bar is on there that is quickly gone and they feel solid. Their narrow profile also gives me more room for hand placement on the barbell. My original cups would often catch the sides of my hands so another plus for these. $25 for these are an absolute steal.
