It gave me lots of warning and so I never lost data. I would buy again. Review: 3 Drives in 3 years, working great in my NAS - I have purchased 3 of these 10Tb drives over the past 3 years to fill up a NAS. They're barely more audible than the NAS's little cooling fan, and have so far not given me any issues. I had 2 set up in a mirror raid configuration and had them at 85% capacity for about a year before I bought a third and reconfigured to a smart raid system to bring me up to 20Tb capacity. Took 3 full days floor the NAS to move the data around across the 3 drives, but it did so without any errors or finding any bad sectors on the drives.
