Well made tripod. Better than original. Good people to deal with. I messed up one leg and they helped me out with a replacement. 100% my fault **Q: What is the max height this can reach up to?** A: This is a guess, because i never measured it. But id say around 5ft. It depends on how far apart you set the legs. Its pretty much the same as the other ones I have had. But it is well made. **Q: This appears to be the same exact tripod as the Stabila branded. Any insights?** A: Don't know about that particular question, but it is a well made tripod. Way better that the original that came with my laser.
