I have used the green tea matcha before as well and loved the smell of that. As for how the products work they work great! I frequently switch my shampoo and conditioner though. Pretty much every time I buy new shampoo and conditioner. This was a great choice and I am glad that I bought it. It also seemed to really work well with my curls. And the smell i'm gonna say is just to die for I use a you can lift us and spearmint body wash as well so it's like a whole spa experience. Everyone in my house says so when I get done in the shower!
