Love the pump feature! Only wish is that the electrical cord was a bit longer as the user manual recommends that an extension cord should not be used. (But good luck trying to find something a whole lot better). It more or less works, but the pump, which was the sole reason I paid this much for it, failed almost out of the box. Worse, it was a partial failure in that it kinda sorta worked for a year. But with 11 months of use, out of the 12 month warranty, it gave up. Only then did I look at the warranty terms which state that Whynter pays shipping on warranty claims for the first two months. At what UPS would charge me, it's almost better just to buy something else. Everything else about it is just mediocre. Too noisy to use in an occupied space. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Need Continuous Dehumidification *by C***H on Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2021* I bought this because it has the continuous condensate pump which has been working great. But the dehumidifier is frequently shutting its compressor off before reaching the setpoint. I've tried changing the settings and even putting it on the continuous mode but it still takes a break often. After shutting itself off it randomly runs with the compressor off for much longer than the three minutes between intervals for no obvious reason while the humidity climbs and climbs.
