Croquet is considered by many to be a game stuck in the past, so at GoSports, we wanted to update the classic game so it can once again be enjoyed by families and friends alike. Our mallets use a modern design and color scheme that separate them from the other dated sets out there. The mallets and handles are crafted from hardwoods for maximum durability. This is a full set that includes 6 mallets, 6 balls, 9 wickets, rules and a carrying case to keep everything organized. The set is backed by a 100. Review: This is a great set! - We had a lot of fun with this set. Yes, it is a little more flimsy (the arch pegs) but they have been in every set I have ever owned. The mallets are tough and don't have the end caps, which is the reason I chose this one. Yes, they do NOT fit in the bag unless you take them apart, but that isn't a big deal unless you are playing croquet every day. I think it is the PERFECT set for the money.

A: I returned it shortly after the first game.  It felt flimsy.  I didn’t think it would last long at all.  Mallets we not reinforced and could easily split.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good set, IMHO

This is a surprisingly good set. Definitely NOT junk, everything is well and solidly made, well finished, well painted, etc. Perhaps not "premium" or "professional" quality, but for casual use it's really very good. I can't tell if the balls are solid plastic or what, but they've got good weight to them and seem very solid. There is nothing else plastic, which is very refreshing. One touch I >really< liked was the carrying case, which is (gasp) LARGER than it needs to be. Nearly ALL games pack everything into a skin-tight case that requires you to be a Jedi puzzle master to Jenga all of the pieces in, but not this one. Goes to show they weren't trying to save pennies. Do realize that the mallets have a handle length is made for kids, not adults, and is therefore on the short side (this is clearly indicated in the description / photos). Adults can certainly use them, but they are not full-length - that usually costs more. I'm 5'10" and haven't had any issues. I think they'd be fine for any kid about age 6 and up. Would recommend.
