He presides over four businesses including his butcher shop and restaurant in Panzano in the heart of the Chianti Classico. On a pilgrimage, you can shop for top salumi, cheese with spicy mostarde, or you can buy some of this fantastic salt blend for your masterpiece of beef. This finely ground Italian sea salt is blended with aromatic herbs including bay leaf, thyme, sage, fennel pollen, juniper, rosemary and lavender – a combination you might not think of to highlight the best flavors of a great steak. Have no fear. The blend is masterful. After steak try it with other meats, vegetables and or add zip a dipping oil. 200 gr/7.76 oz. With each import the packaging changes between the two types of bags shown here.

A: It is one pack of the great herb salt. The packaging has recently been redesigned. The other items in the photo are the wrappings from the butcher shop. The labeling is now completely on the resealable pack.

I first had this herb blend at Dario's restaurant in Tuscany, Italy. I should have bought more as I ran out a few months after I returned home. I was thrilled to find this online and highly recommend it!! It is not just salt, but a great salt replacement with herbs enhancing everything you use it on!Heading to Italy next April and will definitely stock up at Dario's butcher shop. Meanwhile, I am relieved to know I can get it on Amazon.
