It is clear paste and one of kind that you wouldn't be able to find over the counter. I used arm & hammer then switched to sensodyme since my dentist recommended, but I like this one better. When you brush it does not form THE FORM like others do. I heard about the product before, and it is made without any substance that may cause harm in our body if we swallowed. If you are looking to get one that doesn't make form and product that is made with more nanural ingredients, then this is it. The smell and the flavor is more of citrus, it makes such refreshing feeling. You don't need very much (container says pea-sized, but I think you get plenty of lather and coverage with about half that).The lemonade flavor isn't very pronounced, but the slight lemon flavor is nice and tastes fresh. I feel like this toothpaste leaves a nice coverage on my teeth--they feel really fresh for hours afterwards. However, I did feel like I had to use a lot to feel like my mouth was truly clean. I also never felt like it whitened/removed stains from my teeth. I drink a lot of tea so, it's easy to tell when a product isn't removing surface stains.
