I bought it on the belief it would be a great beginner drone but it was anything but easy. He flew it a few times trying to get the hang of the controls and was never able to master it as it is now 60 feet in the air- in a tree. He's a very techy guy who should have had no problem controlling this drone if it was truly a good beginner drone. The propellers got stuck several times and he had to change a few to even get it to lift off properly. The lift off was jerky and hovering never happened. Very disappointed in this device and feeling a bit deceived by the claims of beginner drone. Oh well. Garbage. Instructions inadequate. Does not consistently connect - not sure if issue is controller or drone so both are suspect. Find another option. I wanted something to fly indoors when weather prohibited me from flying larger DJI drone. This unit was recommended, evidently by someone who was ignorant regarding quality drones. It is a gift for kids. And now my kid really enjoyed it, he play it every day. We had a lot of fun! Each change can last 15 mins, which is good for a toy. Even the high end drone only last 30 mins. It is small, but the quality is good.
