Review: Same seller, much better option - I bought both of the AB color diamond shaped decor from this seller. They are wildly different. They both seem to be made of acrylic but this one is drastically more beautiful. The other one is pretty, but these are smaller, and they don't look like plastic. Genuinely gorgeous. I scatter a few spoonfuls in with black or gray fire glass beads as vase filler. I glue a foam cone (about 2/3 of the height of the vase) in the center at the base, to push the crystals towards the outside where they can be seen. I stagger putting them in so the big ones aren't all on top. Just love them.

**Q: is it heavy like crushed glass, need to fill a large floorvase**
A: These come in a small bag and are very light weight.  I use them for ornaments that
I make.  I would say though that it would depend on how many you are going to use and how big the vase is.  They are definitely not as heavy as crushed glass.  You might want to try using something heavier or maybe half and half.  These also look and feel like sparkly diamonds.  I hope this helps you.  Good luck with your project.

**Q: So these are  completely transparent,,, and safe as a potting medium for orchids?**
A: These are more like sparkly diamonds and I use them for the ornaments that I  make. I think that they would be pretty in a small vase but you are going to need definitely more than one of these packets.  
They should be safe for a potting medium but I have to say that I have never used them for vases as they are very small pieces.  Good luck with your project.
