It started turning itself off and wouldn't come back on even if I plugged it into different USB slots. It seems like there is a fault in the wiring. How quickly the mouse would shut itself off seems to be directly related to how high its resolution is set.It is a mouse with a woefully inadequate set of instructions. I had to go to YouTube to find out how to get it to select just ONE of its dozen colors.
