When Hurricane Matthew hit my home was surrounded by water, fortunately the water went down just inches before entering the house. When Hurricane Florence was headed my way I knew I had to try anything to keep the water out of the house. Ordered the bags and received them in less than a week. The bags arrived, put them around the house that day, then evacuated the house for three weeks. Upon returning discovered no water entered the house, but the sandless sandbags were totally full of water. Don't know how well they will hold up on a second or third use, but they paid for themselves on the first use in my opinion. When new these bags are light weight and easy to handle. When filled with water they are heavy. Highly recommend these bags and I will definitely be ordering more.

We get torrential rains in Florida and sometimes the drainage system cannot handle. I have tried sand bags as well as another flood type barriers that just did not work. These 'pillows' are the real deal. They are super adsorbent and have completely solved my problem. I have two of them inside and I do notice a bit of residue on the floor if they have been engaged however that sure beats lugging the shop vac every time it rains.

**Q: Can these be reused once they dry from their first use?**
A: They fill up like a huge pillow so we haven'tt reused them. I don't think they are reusable but let me tell you they are great with any and all leaks and floods.

**Q: they show these on Prime but then it shows delivery 1 to 2 months, is that right?**
A: I received mine right away, but that was a year ago.

**Q: Can they be placed and left as a permanent solution**
A: Mine have been in same place for months with no problem.

**Q: This is advertised as having a 10 year shelf life but the package I received clearly notes only 5 years. Did I get an older version of the product?**

What an outstanding product - these bags actually saved my first floor from major flooding. Yes - they worked - the only draw back was they are not reusable - they are heavy and you have to throw them away. They are slimy after use and Getting them to the street for the trash is not easy- when you are 80 that is a chore (see what I mean) - I really can't complain for they did the job.
